Eileen M. DeVito (O’Rourke) of Watertown, formerly of Arlington passed away peacefully on Dec. 31, 2012. Beloved wife of Alfred M. DeVito, Sr and loving mother of Marie Hayward and husband David of Winchester, Julie DeVito Adams and husband Robert of Belmont, Alfred DeVito, Jr. and wife Theresa of Arlington, James DeVito and wife Kate of Norton, John DeVito and wife Carole of Arlington, Ann DeVito-Hannaford of Winchester, Christine Murphy and husband Denis of Wellesley and the late Charles Andrew DeVito. Eileen is survived by her sixteen grandchildren; Adele, Harry and Emily Hayward, Andrew and Julianne Adams, Lauren Barrett and husband Pat, Heather and Jonathan DeVito, Joseph and Ashley DeVito, John, Whitney and Kelly DeVito, Christine Hannaford and Colin and Ethan Murphy. Also survived by her grandson Callan Barrett, her brother James O’Rourke and wife Jacqueline of Niantic,Ct and Agnes Herr of WA. Relatives and Friends are invited to visit at the DeVito Funeral Home 1145 Mass. Ave.,Arlington on Friday form 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday in St. Camillus Church ( Rt. 2) Arlington.
